During the 8th International XBRL Conference in Seattle, Semansys
XBRL Composer has won the software shoot out, a contest for
the best product for authoring reports and taxonomies. The
expert judges praised the richness in functionality and ease
of use of this best selling XBRL application.
The contestants of the ‘first annual
software vendor shoot out’ were requested to present
a long list of XBRL related functionalities within a timeslot
of 10 minutes. The Composer excelled because of its unique
capabilities to automate reporting processes and hide the
complexities of XBRL. This enabled the presenter to meet all
the judges’ criteria within a second and be left with
sufficient time to show some real life examples of digital
reporting, inspired by Semansys’ extensive user base.
This contest was judged by worldwide leaders
in technology including Richard McCausland, senior editor
of Accounting Technology, Louis Matherne president of XBRL
International and Grant Boyd, Co-Chair of XBRL-New Zealand
and General Manager of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of New Zealand. All commercially available products and tools
competed in this contest won by Semansys.
Semansys
XBRL Composer is the market leading application for authoring
reports, creating taxonomies and managing reporting processes.
