The Netherlands is adopting XBRL quickly. The Dutch jurisdiction of XBRL International is signing on members through www.ecp.nl. Join XBRL.nl now and maximise the benefits for your organization.

There's no doubt that The Netherlands is among the leading countries in adopting XBRL. Users of XBRL and XBRL specialists decided it is high time to establish the Dutch jurisdiction of XBRL International. XBRL.nl will be instrumental in promoting and facilitating the use of XBRL.

XBRL.nl will cater for the growing need for information on XBRL. Also it will facilitate a large number of initiatives that require a structured approach and coordination. These activities include development of a genaral Dutch taxonomy, design and maintenance of a web-site, various marketing initiatives, information sharing with XBRL Internations, working group general ledger, development of teh standard and sharing of experiences.

ECP.nl, the Dutch Platform for Electornic Commerce, is supporting the establishment of XBRL.nl and will take care of operations. Currently ECP.nl is registring membership for XBRL.nl through their site (www.ecp.nl). Obviously accountants, software vendors and consultants will benefit from a membership. Users and future users of this standard, such as corporations, investors, analysts, infomediaries, financial institutions, government institutions, regulators and so forth are especially invited to join. They will in last analysis be the beneficiaries of XBRL.

To date, a considerable list of members have been registered, including Het Koninklijk Nederlands Instituut van Registeraccountants (NIVRA), De Samenwerkende Registeraccountants en Accountants-Aministratieconsulenten
(SRA), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Ernst & Young (E&Y), KPMG, Semansys Technologies, Software AG Nederland, Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek
(CBS) and ABZ Branche Initiatieven.
